National, 4th January 2024: Gurugram-based startup community-builder and accelerator, PedalStart, is thrilled to unveil the second edition of its flagship initiative – the PedalStars Fellowship. Geared towards nurturing aspiring startup enthusiasts aiming for pivotal roles within the startup ecosystem, PedalStars 2.0 is a unique, hands-on learning program set to empower 20 passionate individuals over the next six months.

Selected Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of INR 15k during the program. Upon completion in May 2024, PedalStart extends placement assistance, connecting Fellows with opportunities in either PedalStart or its 20+ portfolio startups. Beyond financial support and placements, PedalStars 2.0 offers an unparalleled chance for Fellows to hone their entrepreneurial skills while working closely with experienced mentors and founders affiliated with PedalStart.

Built on practical, experiential training, this Fellowship immerses participants in the dynamic startup environment. It provides complimentary access to intensive courses, workshops, and invaluable resources, guiding Fellows through the entire startup lifecycle – from ideation to execution. Under the mentorship of seasoned experts, Fellows gain hands-on experience in launching, monitoring, monetizing, and iterating startup initiatives.

Manas Pal, Co-Founder of PedalStart, expressed excitement about the program, stating, “PedalStars Fellowship is a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to dive deep into the hustle and bustle of the startup world. Through practical exposure and hands-on work, Fellows will quickly develop the skills needed to become industry-ready, making them ideal core team members for emerging startups.”

In the first edition, PedalStart successfully trained seven individuals out of 1000+ applicants, all of whom secured placements after completing the program in November. Shreyansh Kataria, a graduate from the first cohort, emphasized the transformative experience, noting the shift in perspective and skill enhancement gained during the program.

An outcome-driven initiative, PedalStars Fellowship does not charge any upfront fees to applicants. However, Fellows securing placements post-program completion will contribute a pre-specified fee over three years.

Applications for PedalStars 2.0 Fellowship are now open. Youngsters with up to three years of entrepreneurial or startup job experience are encouraged to apply through the comprehensive 5-step selection process. To learn more about the Fellowship and apply, visit PedalStars.
