TiE Amaravati Angels announce’s its first”Investor Connect” event

Vijayawada: TiE Amaravati Angels will be organizing their first ever “Investor Connect” event in Vijayawada on August 31st, 2018. The Investment and FundingForum aim to focus on promoting entrepreneurship and mentoring the next path-breaking idea. The last date for sending in the entries is 15th August 2018. Budding innovators, early-stage start-ups inIT/ITES, Pharma/Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Agri/food processing, Fintech space with a working prototype or POC, can share their pitch deck at ad-angels@amaravati.tie.org.

TiE Amaravati Angel Investor Connect is aimed at providing a structured forum to startups to present their business and get access to the right funds, mentoring and ecosystem to grow and elevate their businesses. The TiE Amaravati Angels network (launched with TiE Amaravati in January 2018) has created a pool of investors, venture capitalists and serial entrepreneurs to provide funding in the range of INR 25 Lakhs to One Crore to the selected start-ups for scaling up their operations.

The 6 most promising ventures will be shortlisted by the jury out of all the entries received. The shortlisted start-ups will be given an opportunity to present their Business Plan in a 15 minutes pitch to Investors followed by a 5 minute Q&A. Shortlisted start-ups will be given hand-holding for post investor interactions along with an opportunity to meet mentors for scaling up.

Speaking about the event Mr. Sateesh Andra, President TiE Amaravati, said“ The mission of TiE Amaravati has been to foster entrepreneurship in the State through incubation, networking, mentoring, education, and facilitating funding of any upcoming start-ups and entrepreneurs. An Angel investor shall not only bring funds but also his/her expertise onboard that shall enable quick scaling up of the start-up. We have been proactively working with the start-up ecosystem to not only harness the technologies and ideas they have on offer but also partner them in their entrepreneurial journey.”
