Yash Desai is the Co-Founder of ZET (formerly OneCode) and he is at the forefront of a groundbreaking venture, building ‘ZET’ often described as the “Meesho for financial services”. His mission is clear: to empower underserved communities in Tier 2 & 3 cities, bridging the trust deficit through data-driven solutions and innovative distribution strategies.
Yash’s journey to entrepreneurship began as the first Sales Manager at DineOut in Mumbai, where he swiftly ascended the ranks to become the Business Head for Gourmet Passport. During his tenure, he scaled Gourmet Passport to include 2,000 restaurants across India, spearheading a team of 27 professionals. His remarkable leadership also led to a regional role, where he managed operations across Mumbai, Goa, and Ahmedabad, overseeing a team of 105 people and driving the success of marquee events like The Great Indian Restaurant Festival.
In addition to his impressive career in the tech and business world, Yash holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Hult International Business School. He is also an alum of upGrad.com, specializing in Product Management, and Stanford Continuing Studies, where he delved into International/Global Studies, earning a grade of ‘A.’ His academic journey was enriched by active involvement in the Hult Student Association, where he honed his negotiation and leadership skills.
