Bengaluru, India – November 9, 2023: Salesforce, the leading AI CRM platform, has forged a collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Academy and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to launch the Educator’s Empowerment Program (EEP) focused on Salesforce Technologies. This strategic alliance aims to empower educators by equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills required to navigate the dynamic landscape of technical education, ensuring a standard of excellence for learners.
The EEP will facilitate virtual internships utilizing Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform, as an integral part of the instructional practice. Three distinct tracks have been identified: the Salesforce Platform Developer Track for those adept at building custom applications on the Lightning Platform, the Salesforce Administrator Track for customization of the platform bridging business and technology, and MuleSoft training for seamless interconnection of data, applications, and devices across on-premises and cloud computing environments.
Comprising 40 hours of training over five days, the EEP offers an on-campus learning experience to expedite upskilling and cross-skilling. Faculty participants will receive a certificate of participation from Academia (EEP from ICT Academy supported by AICTE), with additional certification provided through NASSCOM Future Skill Prime on Salesforce Developer Catalyst, Salesforce Administrator, and MuleSoft.
In alignment with IDC’s projections that the global Salesforce economy, powered by AI, will generate a net gain of 11.6 million jobs and $2.02 trillion in business revenues between 2022 and 2028, Salesforce actively collaborates with Indian academia to bolster the availability of skilled talent through the unique EEP.
