Delhi, India – May 29, 2024 – LaunchPilot, an expert-led startup school for first-time entrepreneurs and working professionals, has announced its entry into India with the goal of fostering the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem by empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to build and scale their ideas.

LaunchPilot operates under three core principles: “Learn, Build, and Scale,” to assist aspiring entrepreneurs, working professionals, and first-time founders on their “0-1” journey. This innovative strategy supports entrepreneurs by connecting them with seasoned mentors and investors, providing them with valuable knowledge and insights to develop and implement their ideas, ultimately preparing them for growth and investment.

According to data from Startup India, India boasts one of the top three startup ecosystems globally, with over 112,718 DPIIT-recognized startups spread across 763 districts. However, many Indian startups fail early due to a lack of market knowledge, effective mentorship, networking access, founder burnout, team-building challenges, fundraising opportunities, essential business knowledge, and unsuitable business models. LaunchPilot aims to address these challenges with its unique approach, contributing to economic empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship in India.

Commenting on the expansion into India, Sarvesh Tusnial, Co-Founder of LaunchPilot, stated, “Entrepreneurship has the potential to impact many lives, yet numerous founders struggle with executing their ideas. By launching our Startup School in India, we are driven by a singular mission: to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to actively build their ideas into businesses.”

LaunchPilot has already collaborated with several respected academic institutions and communities, including NUS Singapore, NTU Singapore, IIM Bodhgaya, Eden Academy, and RemoteYear, to support gig economy training and assist student entrepreneurs. Recognizing the challenges faced by founders in their 0-1 journey, LaunchPilot expanded its offerings through its Startup School initiative to help individuals learn, build, and scale their ideas.
