The national symposium series concluded in Delhi, fostering cross-sector collaboration for long-term impact in education, health, environment, and the newly introduced water category.

New Delhi, July 11, 2025 — HCLFoundation, the CSR arm of global tech company HCLTech, has wrapped up the 11th edition of the HCLTech Grant Pan-India Symposium Series in the capital, spotlighting Water as a newly added category under its Environment focus.

The final symposium, themed ‘Pathways from Policy to Practice: Role of Civil Society’, welcomed over 400 NGOs in Delhi and marked the culmination of an eight-city tour—including Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, Gangtok, Bengaluru, Ranchi, Pune, and Bhopal—that convened 1,700+ stakeholders across India. Each chapter focused on vital development themes such as climate action, education, community engagement, and environmental sustainability.

Starting this year, the HCLTech Grant program has increased its annual allocation by 45% to ₹24 crore, with winning NGOs receiving ₹5 crore for four-year projects, and runners-up securing ₹50 lakh for two-year initiatives. The expanded framework now includes Education, Healthcare, a refined Biodiversity track, and the newly introduced Water category—encouraging scalable, community-driven solutions to tackle issues like water scarcity, access, and pollution.

“Water is central to ecosystem resilience and community well-being. By recognizing it as a standalone category, we aim to drive measurable impact through grassroots innovation,” said Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, SVP – Global CSR, HCLTech & Director, HCLFoundation.

Since its inception in 2015, the HCLTech Grant has supported 59 transformative projects, investing ₹152.8 crore to benefit over 2.2 million people across 131 districts in 22 states and 2 Union Territories. The Pan-India Symposium Series continues to be a catalyst for collaborative action, connecting civil society organizations with platforms for dialogue, learning, and scale.
