The trucking industry has traditionally relied on manual coordination, limited visibility, often leading to empty return trips, delayed payments, low asset utilization and operational losses for fleet owners and drivers. The early days were focused on understanding the pain points of both shippers and transporters, from lack of transparency to the constant struggle for reliable capacity. This deep industry interaction is what inspired the development of a solution that could bring digital transformation, real-time data, and seamless connectivity to a sector longing for proper infrastructure.
This wasn’t an edge case. It was the everyday reality for millions of truck owners across India.
Founded in April 2024, the idea of TrucksUp took shape from real, on-ground experiences observing how fragmented and inefficient the road logistics ecosystem is, despite being one of the largest contributors to the Indian economy. Co-founder Sarthak Elwadhi built a platform designed to bring standardization, transparency, and smart technology integration into logistics that would adapt to the Indian ecosystem, empowering stakeholders, improving driver experiences, and unlocking greater value across the supply chain.

The Problem Nobody Was Solving For
Large companies typically focus only on moving goods efficiently from point A to point B, adhering to their guidelines and targets, without much consideration for the welfare of single truck owners. Despite countless summits and discussions among some of the brightest minds in the country, the issues plaguing this segment remained unresolved.Â
Globally, the trucking industry is far more organized, digitally integrated, and data-driven. Fleet operations overseas benefit from standardized processes, advanced telematics, and real-time visibility, which significantly improve efficiency and reduce delays. Driver welfare is also taken more seriously, with structured resting facilities, professional training, and transparent payment systems.
In contrast, India’s trucking sector has long been fragmented, with limited digital adoption, inconsistent operational practices, and a lack of reliable, centralized information. These gaps often lead to inefficiencies such as empty runs, low asset utilization, delayed deliveries, and driver stress.
With background in logistics, co-founder Sarthak Elwadhi could see the bigger picture and the root causes of these struggles. His journey toward product market fit began on the ground, not in boardrooms. He spent time with truck owners at dhabas, transport nagars, loading points, and toll plazas to deeply understand their challenges. These global learnings became the foundation of TrucksUp.
Most are single-vehicle owners who value trust, simplicity, and human support over complex technology.
Building Trust Before Building Features
One of the biggest hurdles in getting initial traction was building trust within the trucking ecosystem, especially among small fleet owners and individual truck operators who were not used to adopting digital platforms. Many were skeptical about technology and unsure of the value it could deliver. To overcome this, we focused on face-to-face interactions, clearly explaining the benefits and showing how our solution could simplify their daily operations.
Another major challenge was driving adoption in a fragmented market. We addressed this by keeping the platform simple, user-friendly, and focused on real operational problems rather than complex features. The team also provided hands-on support during onboarding to ensure users felt confident using the platform and the fleet owners were also given the fintech and fuel support at every stage of the subscription. As customers began to see tangible benefits, word-of-mouth referrals helped accelerate traction and strengthen credibility in the market.
we offer subscription-based models like TrucksHub, features such as Safety 360 and My Truck Is Here, supported by 24/7 customer assistance, we have built a strong foundation of trust and reliability for our users.
A Platform, Not Just an App
What truly sets TrucksUp apart is our unwavering focus on truck owners as the primary stakeholders of the logistics ecosystem. While most digital logistics platforms optimize freight discovery for shippers or large fleet operators, we built TrucksUp to address a long-ignored gap, empowering individual truck owners as independent entrepreneurs, not passive capacity providers.
We enable truck owners to access verified and transparent freight opportunities without relying on middlemen. With real-time data, fair pricing visibility, and digital contracting, owners make informed decisions that improve earnings and asset utilization. Unlike volume-driven aggregator models, every solution we design prioritizes the fintech and operational control of truck owners.
Beyond freight matching, TrucksUp offers a full support ecosystem, including fuel management, maintenance, insurance, FASTag, and compliance support. By simplifying documentation, payments, and trip management, we help truck owners focus on growth. TrucksUp isn’t just a platform, it’s a true partner to India’s trucking community.
Early Numbers That Tell a Story
Less than two years in, the traction is striking. Over 1 crore users have engaged with the platform to find and post loads. More than 4.5 lakh vehicle owners are registered, with 5 lakh+ vehicles verified across 14,000+ pincodes nationwide. The platform connects 80,000+ registered shippers and business associates, and supports over 3 lakh preferred routes to reduce empty miles.
Financially, TrucksUp has generated ₹6 crore+ in subscription revenue, collected ₹6 crore+ in insurance premiums, and processed ₹5 crore+ in FASTag transactions. In Q2 FY26 alone, loads posted on the platform grew by over 21%, with nearly 2 lakh loads listed by business associates. Total income grew 28% quarter-on-quarter.
The company has raised ₹20 crore in initial capital from investors who bring not just funding but three decades of hands-on logistics experience, the kind of institutional knowledge that helps a young startup avoid costly missteps in a sector as complex as trucking.
What Comes Next
Our vision is to bring modern digital convenience, AI-driven route optimization, real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and high asset utilization to every truck on the road, not just large fleets. TrucksUp aims to be the single platform where users discover the best freight, get the most competitive VAS deals, sell and buy trucks and also operate transparently, and run their businesses with confidence
As we expand across India’s key industrial corridors and into markets with similar fragmentation, we want geography to stop being a limitation. The end goal is clear: build a globally replicable logistics model that empowers stakeholders, improves efficiency, and makes trucking more equitable one truck, one owner, and one journey at a time.
In the future, we foresee becoming India’s leading load board and evolving into a fully integrated digital ecosystem that powers end-to-end trucking operations for every stakeholder.
