7. Live at ART MUMBAI: Three Days of Music and Performance
ART MUMBAI’s stage programme features music and dance across three days, spanning funk, swing and contemporary interpretations of traditional performance forms.
- Madboy/Mink: On Friday, 13 November, at 7.30pm, Imaad Shah and Saba Azad, known for their genre-defying sound, will take the stage, blending electro, soul, cabaret-punk and influences from Indian film scores of the 1960s and 1970s.
- Harini Nilakantan: Combining Bharatanatyam with street styles, Harini will perform on Saturday, 14 November, at 8:30 pm, pairing traditional footwork and expression with contemporary beats.
- Indian Navy Band: From 12 noon on Sunday, November 15, the Indian Navy Band will perform at the fair.
8. Spotlight on Photography
Photography takes a more prominent place at ART MUMBAI 2026, with three presentations spanning contemporary explorations of the natural world, vintage images of India’s princely cities, and portraits of influential modern Indian artists. Featuring In Dialogue with Nature, presented by Chennai Photo Biennale X WWF – India, Derry Moore’s evocative black-and- white photographs and Richard Bartholomew’s artist portraits, the presentations explore photography as both art and cultural record.
9. Institutional and Foundation Presentations
Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Saffronart Foundation, The Dabriwala Foundation for the Arts, Chennai Photo Biennale X WWF – India, Dot Line Space Art Foundation and The Cycle will present significant displays. Voices from the Earth: Women, Nature, Power will be on view at the joint Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and Saffronart Foundation booth at ART MUMBAI this year. Historically, women, particularly within folk, tribal and Indigenous communities, have visually documented stories of the earth. Often positioned outside contemporary art, these traditions reflect artists’ lived experiences. The exhibition celebrates the expressive power of women working within vernacular art traditions and traces the transition from domestic and ritual contexts to paper and canvas, acknowledging the struggles and resilience that have shaped their journeys.
10. A Taste of Mumbai: Food and Drink at the Fair
Adding to the overall experience of the fair, ART MUMBAI will feature an expanded selection of food and beverage offerings, bringing together some of Mumbai's well-known such as Cecconi's, Mag St., Nara Thai, Julien Patisserie, Supa San, Ode, Nandan Coffee and The Nutcracker, alongside a variety of other options.
ART MUMBAI Co-founder Minal Vazirani said, “Since its debut in 2023, ART MUMBAI has become an inextricable part of the city’s cultural calendar. We have always wanted it to be a fair the city can call its own – a place where the art community, collectors and wider audiences come together to discover, engage with and collect art. As the fair grows, so does its role as a cultural meeting point, bringing perspectives from India and around the world to Mumbai. We look forward to welcoming you all this November.”
Sachin Sahay, CEO, Birla Opus Paints said, “ART MUMBAI brings together diverse perspectives, creative disciplines and interpretations of contemporary art, making it a natural platform for Birla Opus Paints to engage with the evolving world of art and design. Our continued association reflects our belief that colour is not merely aesthetic, but a powerful medium of expression that influences how we perceive and experience the world around us. Through this collaboration, we are creating an interactive space that invites visitors to look beyond the surface and explore the interplay of colour, design innovation and emerging trends, while discovering their many dimensions.”
