National, 24th October 2019: Malangs presents you the first video song ‘Malanga’. An infectious tune, captivating lyrics and beautiful visuals that stay with you forever. The song is all about setting yourself free and follows your heart. A story of two guys, one works in corporate and other works as a singer in a bar. Both are not happy with their respective job as their talent is not recognized. Both leave their job and join hands together to form first band under Malangs.
The song is composed by Farid Ahmed and Gaurav, and was penned by Kalim Shaikh. It has been performed by the first band formed under Malangs, featuring singers Farid Ahmed and Umashankar.
Speaking about the launch of the song, Prashant Kumar, Managing Director, Malangs said, “We are super excited about the launch of ‘Malanga’. After months of hard work and dedication, the song has turned out just as we had imagined. It is about waking up to reality and following your heart, to break away from whatever is holding you back and make your dreams come true. Malangs was launched to bring together several artists and bands from various backgrounds and genres of music. Based on audience preference, the platform will give listeners the ability to determine which artists they want to listen to or see them perform live. It has several exciting projects in the pipeline, which are sure to leave audiences enthralled. The song ‘Malanga’ has been released on different music platforms like Gaana, Apple Music, Tidal, kkbox and YouTube Music. The video of the song has also been released on Malangs’ YouTube channel.
