DocsApp appoints ex-OLA Head of Media and Brand Alliance Ashish Bajaj as Head of Marketing; aims to strengthen brand presence

In a bid to optimize its growth trajectory in the digital healthcare realm, DocsApp, India’s leading chat-based doctor consultation platform, has appointed Ashish Bajaj as its Head of Marketing. Ashish, who previously was the Head of Media and Brand Alliance for Ola, comes with a strong marketing background and a diversified portfolio across verticals such as IT, advertising and consumer-tech. In his new role, the seasoned professional will be responsible for brand-building and driving the business growth for DocsApp.

Ashish has achieved many milestones in his illustrious career, from being the first one to represent India at Young Lions Media competition at Cannes Lion in 2012 to emerging as the sole winner of the Young Spikes Media Competition at Spike Asia, Singapore in the same year. During his 3.5-year with Ola, he was part of the company’s international expansion team and played an instrumental role in budget planning, developing media strategy across platforms and the execution of ATL and BTL activities. Ashish has also worked with industry behemoths like Nokia as a Marketing Manager and Microsoft. A BTech graduate from the prestigious PTU, Ashish holds an MBA degree from IILM, Gurgaon.

The company has recently registered an astounding 580% (6.8 times) growth in revenue from last year.
