New Delhi, December 20, 2019: Armed with an objective to acknowledge and appreciate the contributors to the country’s auto industry, Droom, India’s largest and pioneering online automobile transactional marketplace, is set to host the second edition of Droom Pre-Owned Automotive Awards. The first in its league, this is the country’s most comprehensive award and conference event aimed at rewarding and honoring the innovations and legacy created by market front-runners across different categories, felicitating them for their sheer excellence and their instrumental role in the industry’s growth over the year. The event has received an overwhelming number of 200 nominations from 40+ OEMs contending for four broad award categories: Pre-owned Vehicles, New Vehicles, Best of Droom, and Special Awards.
In its second edition this year, the country’s only and most prestigious Pre-Owned Automotive Awards is even more comprehensive with the four categories—Hatchback of the Year, Premium Hatchback of the Year, Sedan of the Year, and Luxury Sedan of the Year—for the pre-owned segment last year introduced in the new segment as well, each further divided into Buyer’s Choice, Dealer’s Choice, and Jury’s Choice. The Best of Droom category has further sets of Most Loanable and Highest Resale Value awards for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Another new category entrant this year is ‘Special Awards’, which will recognize the Technology Innovation of the Year, Automotive Person of the Year, Two-wheeler OEM of the Year, and Four-wheeler OEM of the Year.
