The Flagship Event of Shaastra 2018, Tech and Innovation Fair (TIF) to be organised in association with IITM Incubation Cell and Entrepreneurship Cell, IITM

Shaastra is the annual technical festival of IIT Madras. It is the largest technical fest of its kind in India and has the distinction of being the first ISO 9001:2008 certified student-organized event in the world.

Shaastra aims to grow and evolve into a technical festival which involves everyone; be it budding engineers, young entrepreneurs, future policy makers or even technocrats. The underlying philosophy of Shaastra is to promote creative thinking and to showcase innovative technology and this is being upheld through various channels.

Have you ever built something for a competition but don’t know what to do with it now? Do you have a working prototype of an idea which you think has the potential to go big but don’t have the means or the knowledge to take it forward? Tech and Innovation Fair (TIF) is one of the Flagship events of Shaastra 2018 which provides a platform to bring forward a hard core tech project or prototype and convert it into a minimum-viable product (MVP) with well-structured business mentoring that would ultimately ensure its success as a market-shelf product with a suitable target consumer pool.
