Global Zumba Ambassadors coming to Bengaluru’s doorstep at one of the Largest Zumba Learning Convention

Bangalore | 26th February 2020: Namrata Sinha, a certified and vibrant Zumba instructor is hosting the largest Zumba Convention in ‘Garden City of India’ Bangalore’s Forum Shantiniketan Mall, Whitefield on February 29th, 6.00pm onwards. One of its kind, the convention will enhance the instructor’s awareness in the community and help establish emerging trainers. Stalwarts of the Zumba community, Zumba education specialist from India, Sucheta Pal and special guest from the USA, Darren Jacobson, VP of Zumba and Dave Sibley, MD of Zumba from London will also share their Zumba moves with fitness enthusiasts of the city.

Commenting on the forthcoming event, Namrata Sinha said, “The fitness world is becoming popular for plenty of options but in India, dance workouts like Zumba are finding the most takers. In fact, today, it shares the same space with Yoga on the scale of popularity. And, Bangalore being one of the fittest cities, brings the biggest turnouts of Zumba lovers. The idea of organizing the largest learning convention in the Zumba community, spurred from the growing popularity of this dance fitness form in the city and the fact that Bangalore has the strongest community in Zumba Instructor Network. So here we are calling out all the Zumba instructors for a fun learning session of Zumba to pump up their energy levels and also get a preview of exclusive sessions hosted by the globally renowned names right here in India.”

Namrata further added, “As more and more people in our country, especially the women are becoming health conscious and are not shying away from experimenting different forms of workout to stay fit, I am expecting this convention to be a grand success. Through such events, I want to give locally established Zumba instructors a push in their practice.

A NIFT Delhi graduate, Namrata was a part of the retail industry and it was during her stint as a visual merchandiser for a retail giant in Canada that she discovered various dance-fitness forms. This was when the 35-year-old fitness entrepreneur decided to quit her retail career to follow full-time dance and fitness and chose Bengaluru to pursue her passion. She is responsible for introducing Aqua Zumba to India along with Jyotika Dwarkanath, with the support of Courtyard by Marriott in Bengaluru. Namrata now endeavours to be an inspiration for everyone who thinks, ‘It’s too late to live your passion’ and raise up their spirits with her fitness regimen ‘Eat, Sleep, Zumba and Repeat!’ So are you all set to sweat?
