Hitron Partners with Aprecomm to Bring AI-Powered Network Optimization to Broadband Providers

Hitron CPE devices will now feature built-in integration with Aprecomm’s customer experience management platform, enabling broadband providers across the Americas to instantly access AI-powered cloud applications for enhanced network performance.

Bengaluru, February 5, 2025: Hitron Technologies Americas has announced a strategic partnership with Aprecomm, a leader in network and customer experience solutions. This collaboration will integrate Aprecomm’s advanced AI-powered platform into Hitron’s state-of-the-art broadband customer premises equipment (CPE), offering broadband service providers (BSPs) instant access to AI-driven network optimization. As part of this agreement, Hitron also becomes Aprecomm’s exclusive partner for DOCSIS-based solutions across the Americas.

By embedding Aprecomm’s AI agent into its CPE lineup—including WiFi 7 routers, gateways, and extenders—Hitron provides service providers with a seamless, ready-to-deploy solution. This integration enhances operational efficiency, automates network adjustments, and significantly improves subscriber satisfaction right out of the box.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Aprecomm to bring AI-powered capabilities directly into our devices,” said Greg Fisher, President & CTO of Hitron Technologies Americas. “This partnership enables broadband providers to proactively resolve network issues, reduce costs, and deliver superior customer experiences without the need for additional integration.”

Expanding AI-Driven Network Management

This partnership enhances Hitron’s software ecosystem by integrating Aprecomm’s cloud-based applications, ensuring compatibility with industry standards like the TR-369 User Services Platform (USP) developed by the Broadband Forum.

“We are excited to see Hitron and Aprecomm extend USP’s availability in their cloud-based device management solutions,” said Craig Thomas, CEO of Broadband Forum. “USP plays a vital role in ensuring seamless monitoring and management of connected devices in today’s smart homes.”

Key Benefits for Broadband Service Providers:

  • AI-Driven Self-Healing Networks: Aprecomm’s AI-powered quality of experience (QoE) algorithm automatically detects and resolves common network issues, reducing customer support costs and improving service reliability.
  • Rapid Deployment & Scalability: Hitron’s pre-integrated devices provide BSPs with instant access to Aprecomm’s cloud applications, minimizing setup time and accelerating time to market.
  • Operational Efficiency: AI-powered analytics improve first-call resolution rates, reduce truck rolls, and automate network adjustments, cutting overall operational costs.
  • Enhanced Subscriber Experience: Self-optimizing and self-healing WiFi networks deliver uninterrupted, high-quality connectivity for residential and business users.

“We’re excited to expand the global availability of our AI-powered solutions,” said Pramod Gummaraj, Founder and CEO of Aprecomm. “As broadband providers shift their focus from speed and pricing to guaranteed customer experience, our partnership with Hitron ensures they have the tools to offer superior, self-optimizing WiFi services.”

Proven Impact & Availability

Aprecomm’s AI-driven analytics and automated support tools provide broadband providers with real-time insights into network performance, enabling them to resolve issues proactively. Field results show a 62% reduction in truck rolls, a 35% improvement in first-call resolutions, and a 30% decrease in call resolution times—ultimately leading to a 20% reduction in subscriber churn.

The integrated solution is now available to broadband service providers across the Americas, serving both residential and business customers. By leveraging AI-powered automation, Hitron and Aprecomm are redefining broadband connectivity with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and an enhanced user experience.
