New Delhi, 3rd January 2025: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has reached a significant milestone by winning the prestigious LEAPS-2024 Award in the “Institutions: Education and Skill Development in the Logistics Sector” category. Outperforming 34 other esteemed institutions, IIM Mumbai has reaffirmed its leadership in logistics education and skill development.
The award was presented to Professor Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, by Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles.
The LEAPS-2024 (Logistics Excellence, Advancement & Performance Shield) initiative celebrates exceptional contributions and innovations in India’s logistics ecosystem, recognizing MSMEs, startups, and key enablers for transformative practices and impactful achievements.
LEADS Report 2024 Announcement
The event also coincides with the release of the much-anticipated Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) Report 2024. Published by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the National Logistics Policy, 2022, the report provides actionable insights for enhancing logistics performance across India.
