KEI Industries Ltd. extends support to ISKCON Delhi to feed more than 2 lakh homeless daily

New Delhi | 3rd April 2020: While the nation is gripped by the coronavirus and is observing a lockdown, several have been stranded with no food and shelter. Amidst these challenging times, country’s leading wire and cable manufacturer KEI Industries Ltd. has also extended their support to ISKCON Delhi to feed the homeless.

Being a socially responsible corporate, the company understands the need of the hour and supports those most in need as major services stay disrupted. Catering to over 125 locations in the city using 100 cooks and several volunteers, fresh hot meals are delivered using E-Richshaws to more than 2 lakh homeless every single day.

Speaking on the same, Mr Anil Gupta, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, KEI Industries Ltd said, ‘As a corporate, we value the life of each and every individual of the nation. We understand the situation and stand strongly with the government to help those most in need. We are happy to help ISKCON Delhi undertake this wonderful and humanitarian initiative which they are fulfilling with their unwavering intention to provide food to the people. This is the time when the country should come together and fight as one and as a company we assure that we will extend our full support in doing so.”

ISKCON Delhi is a non-profit organization and has stepped up efforts to help out local vulnerable sections of the population with wholesome food. The kitchen is taking all the precautions as per the Health Ministry guidelines. Mr Anil Gupta has also come forward to support ISCKON Delhi in this initiative headed under the guidance of Shri Piyoosh Goyal ( Pradyumna Priya Das), President ISKCON Dwarka.
