Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India | 11th August 2025: Automotive Manufacturers (AMPL Group), part of one of India’s largest automobile retail conglomerates, has officially inaugurated a brand-new Mahindra Commercial Vehicle (CV) dealership in Madurai, further strengthening its partnership with Mahindra and enhancing service accessibility for customers in the region. The grand opening was led by Mr. Thalapathi G., Honourable MLA of Madurai North constituency, along with senior officials from Mahindra and AMPL Group.

Prime Location to Serve Growing Demand

The state-of-the-art facility is strategically located on Pandi Kovil Ring Road, near Guru Hospital, Mattuthavani, offering easy access for customers across the Madurai North region. Designed to cater to the rising demand from both captive fleet owners and market load operators, the dealership spans 3,500 sq. ft. and features a modern, fully air-conditioned showroom capable of displaying up to five Mahindra Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).

AMPL Group’s Expanding Presence in India

In 2025, AMPL Group has reinforced its position as Mahindra’s largest sales and after-sales partner in India, operating 138 Mahindra touchpoints across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala. Market Outlook: Growing Demand for LCVs

According to CRISIL Ratings, Light Commercial Vehicles – which account for 62% of total sales volume – are expected to grow 4-6% in FY 2025, driven by e-commerce deliveries, warehouse expansions in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and increased freight demand in sectors like cement and mining.
