Dr. Arindam Ghatak is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biomoneta, an innovation-led healthcare and deep-tech company pioneering infection prevention and air decontamination technologies. A bioengineer and medtech entrepreneur, he brings over 11 years of expertise spanning infectious disease, systems biology, synthetic biology, and healthcare technology. His career reflects a strong commitment to translating deep-science innovations into practical healthcare applications that address global challenges in infection control.

At Biomoneta, Dr. Ghatak leads the company’s external strategy, technology development, and research initiatives. He has played a pivotal role in advancing ZeBox, Biomoneta’s flagship air-decontamination technology, from early-stage research and prototyping to validation and real-world deployment. His leadership ensures that Biomoneta’s innovations are not only scientifically robust but also scalable and impactful in healthcare environments worldwide.

Prior to co-founding Biomoneta, Dr. Ghatak worked with Cellworks Research, where he focused on computational approaches to understanding antibacterial compounds. His academic background includes a PhD in Biophysics and Molecular Biology from the University of Calcutta and an Executive Management Programme from Cornell University, equipping him with both scientific depth and strategic business acumen.

Dr. Ghatak is also an inventor on patents related to air decontamination and microbial control, underscoring his role as a thought leader in preventive healthcare technology.
