Mumbai, April 6th, 2020: PetKonnect, India’s most comprehensive online pet community, today launches “24hr Vet on-call” service PAN India as well as a “BMC Pet Registration” service in Mumbai. These services will be available to pet-parents for their furry charges from April 4th, 2020. Pet-parents can easily access these services by signing onto the PetKonnect app available on the Google Play store & the Apple App store as well as the website.
During this difficult period of CoronaVirus, PetKonnect has launched a 24hr Vet on-call service PAN India to help pet parents access vets while social distancing. This service will be chargeable at a rate of INR 300 and INR 400 per call during the day and night time respectively, with a maximum call duration of 20 minutes. The timing for day calls will be from 10:00 am till 10:00 pm, and for night calls from 10:00 pm till 10:00 am. To ensure pet parents receive the best in medical advice for their beloved charges, PetKonnect has partnered with leading vets including Dr. Vani jhaveri and Dr. Sailee Walavalkar to execute this service.
To regulate animal population, government authorities, under section 191(A) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, has made it mandatory for owners of pet dogs to obtain a license. PetKonnect’s BMC pet registration service enables all pet parents to easily register their pets’ from the comfort of their homes, while abiding with these mandated state requirements. Pet registration fees as set out by government authorities charge a first time registration fee of INR 105 for 1 year and subsequently an INR 100 for each yearly renewal. PetKonnect takes on this activity for our beloved pet parents for a small fee of INR 50 per transaction.
