India | 11th April 2020: QuackQuack; one of India’s primary dating platform today announced that they are witnessing a surge of 80% in their user-base post the lockdown period.

The platform has over 8 million active users and is on-boarding 18,000 new users per day since the lockdown period. The user chats on the app have also gone up from 350k chats per day to 500k chats per day. The dating platform is witnessing an increase in user-base from professions like Sales/Marketing (+50%), Business (+25%) and Students (+25%).

The platform also reported an increase in time spent in browsing/viewing profiles on their platform since 22nd March 2020 which has gone upto 25% and there is also a 30% increase in daily active user base as compared to pre-lockdown.

Speaking about the ongoing trends Mr. Ravi Mittal, Founder of QuackQuack stated that “During this tough time we are glad that people are opting for online services to make their stay at home comfortable. As an organisation we have also witnessed about a 80% increase in our daily new user base, while also leading to 20% hike in our revenues”

They also have a strict moderation policy to safe-guard women users. Their backend moderation team is equipped to weed out fake profiles and they suspend close to 10% new signups everyday on suspicion.
