New Delhi, October 2025Readmio, a global EdTech startup known for its interactive storytelling platform, has officially launched in India—its 10th international market since inception in 2020. The company announced a ₹2.25 crore investment over the next 18 months to support its India rollout and early growth phase.

Readmio uses speech recognition technology to enhance read-aloud experiences by adding real-time sounds and music to stories. As users narrate tales, the app responds dynamically—creating an immersive, engaging experience for children and families.

The India launch will focus on regional folktales and cultural narratives, alongside international classics. The company has begun with Hindi content and plans to expand into other popular Indian languages in the coming months.

“As our local library grows, we’ll progressively increase marketing spends to reach more families and schools across the country,” said Jozef Simko, CEO of Readmio. “We’ve designed Readmio to be intuitive, playful, and accessible—bringing storytelling to life in a way that’s both educational and magical.”

Readmio will also introduce India-specific pricing and integrate local payment options such as UPI Autopay and digital wallets, ensuring affordability and ease of access for Indian users.

Approximately 80% of the committed investment will be directed toward content production, with the remaining 20% allocated to marketing and outreach.
