6th February 2020: Jaipur based incubator ‘Startup Chaupal’ incubated startup ‘FreshWoof’ raised seed funding from Marwari Catalyst Ventures.
Nowadays most packaged foods available in the market for Pet dogs have Artificial Flavours and Chemicals which are very harmful due to which pet dogs are prone to serious diseases like cancer and other critical diseases.
FreshWoof offers personalised meal diets for pets based on their age, weight and activity level and these meals are made of natural ingredients (no chemicals or preservatives) packed with advanced packaging technology. These meals are meat-less.
Startup founders Tejwinder Singh and Sakshi Sharma pitched their startup to Marwari Catalyst Ventures on the occasion of 3rd anniversary of Startup Chaupal and they were rewarded with on-the-spot seed funding to launch the product in the market.
Sushil Sharma, Founder and Angel Investor of Marwari Catalyst Ventures assured the founders to provide mentoring and support as well. He said that it can be a very scalable start-up if the founders work with focus. Startup Chaupal co-founders Sumit Srivastava and Pranay Mathur congratulated the FreshWoof founders. They told that this is a very proud moment for them as they have been hand holding this startup in their incubation from the beginning.
