Please tell us about the founders
We are a team of two co-founders, Shubham soni and Pulkit Khatri currently pursuing the 3rd year of B.Tech in computer science and Engg.
Pulkit Khatri – Android app developer, web developer, passionate about solving problems. Shubham soni – Working with a motto to provide free and digital education to everyone.
As a student, when you start studying, what main obstacles you may have to face?
The very first problem is “the lack of availability of study material”. Sometimes students do not have complete notes. Preparing good notes during college hours can become quite a hassle. Being students, we both realized this problem. There is at least one subject in each semester for which even the most sincere student does not have notes and there are also such subjects for which there are no complete notes available.
The second problem and the most frequent one is, when students are learning subjects online they waste a lot of time getting distracted in switching b/w various websites and channels.
Also, the most painful problem which most of us ignore is waste of paper and money which spent on photocopies and printing notes.
We started our journey from the engineering community of our college 7 months back with a motive to build a one stop platform where all study materials can be accessed for free. Till date, we have 4500+ unique visitors and 900+ registered users in last 3 months. Gradually we are expanding it to various fields and that too for numerous colleges.
What is the uniqueness about your Startup?
NotesBundle is a free education portal which provides notes that helps students save time and money before exams especially. We provide them organized and specific study material along with live sessions, interview questions & foreign languages online that can accessed with just a few clicks.
What is the revenue model? What is the logic behind it? What is the model you are following – Free / Freemium / Premium etc. ? Explain your thought process.
We plan to generate revenues using a customized advertising model.
We aim towards providing simplified and categorized study material to students for free. It We emphasize on reducing the usage of paper, which saves environment, money and provides a one stop digital solution.
Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them?
Our target customers are all college students. As discussed earlier, our solution will save lot of time, money which is being wasted in searching, noting down and printing notes. We offer visual learning through video lectures and prepare students for interview by providing them 360+ interview questions in 8 different fields. We are targeting more than 2.5 lakh students with in next 3 years across Rajasthan.
What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how?
We are targeting more than 2.5 lakh students and we will be offering various courses’ study material i.e. Law, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, Interior designing and architecture within next 3 years. It will bring students to the digital platform and hence eventually reduce the usage of paper to a large extent.
What is the success story of your startup in your own words?
The idea of NotesBundle came to our mind when we were studying for a test the night before. We felt that the study material available to us was very complex and at the same time, inadequate. We were not alone, our whole batch was facing the same problem. At that moment, the idea of NotesBundle was seeded in our minds. A digital platform where a student can get all the study material in an organized and simplified manner which can be accessed by any student for free. We started our journey from the engineering department of our college and today we have 4500+ Unique visitors.
NotesBundle has a huge treasure of study material. Currently, we offer 36+ engineering subjects along with 4 foreign languages, 360+ interview questions in 8 branches. We also offer a customized solution for building a resume in few minutes. Recently, NotesBundle was selected for iB Hubs Startup School at Lucknow to further enhance their concept and to build a strong foundation of their startup with the help of various top level industry professionals.
