The fresh capital will be deployed to expand customer acquisition, diversify into new product categories, and strengthen supply-chain capabilities, positioning Thimblerr as a key enabler in India’s fast-growing fashion ecosystem.
Transforming Fashion Manufacturing
Founded in 2022 by Piyush Jalan (IIT Kanpur, ex-Jarvis Consulting) and Rishav Papneja (IIT Delhi, ex-Uber), Thimblerr integrates design intelligence, rapid prototyping, and tech-enabled manufacturing into a single platform. This allows fashion brands to move seamlessly from concept to delivery, reducing lead times from 180 days to just 30–60 days.
The platform currently generates 3,000+ new designs every month and serves 12+ leading clients in India, including Tata Trent, USPA, Snitch, and The Souled Store.
“In today’s fast-paced fashion landscape, brands cannot afford inefficiencies in design-to-delivery cycles,” said Mitesh Shah, Co-founder, Inflection Point Ventures. “Thimblerr’s tech-first approach makes them a dependable partner for fashion brands, enabling speed, sustainability, and scalability.”
Founders’ Vision
“Our mission is to reshape India’s fast fashion manufacturing ecosystem by bringing speed, transparency, and reliability into the process,” said Piyush Jalan, Co-founder, Thimblerr. “We are building a single platform that connects global brands with trusted Indian manufacturers, enabling faster production and creating real value for both brands and suppliers. This is a step toward positioning India as a global hub for fast fashion manufacturing.”
Industry Context
India’s fast fashion manufacturing industry, valued at USD 5 billion, is growing at 25–30% YoY, driven by rising consumer demand, global sourcing, and the popularity of trend-driven apparel. Thimblerr is strategically positioned to capitalize on this momentum by offering infrastructure, tools, and capabilities that empower brands to scale and innovate without the burden of managing complex supply chains.
