5th November 2019: UIncept, one of India’s premier accelerators has partnered with MindCET, a leading Israeli EdTech Innovation Center and Ingenious Faces to host the semi-finals of the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GES Awards) at their Gurugram Campus.

“Israel, popularly known as the startup capital of the world has the highest startup density in the world. We’ve got a lot to learn when it comes to creating an ecosystem where startups are able to thrive and we’re honoured to partner with MindCET for the Global EdTech Festival. This partnership also comes at the right time as we’ve just commenced our second cohort of the EdTech Acceleration Program”, adds Manish Gupta, who is an angel investor and the founder of UIncept Accelerator.

As a part of the Global EdTech Festival, UIncept will be hosting the semi-finals of the World’s largest EdTech Startup Competition, GES Awards where we’ll see the following Indian startups competing for their spot in the GES Awards Finale in London:  Akshara Foundation, AlphabyteCoursmyuExcelerate, Next Skills 360, Skillinabox, StudyApt, BridgeLabz Solutions LLP, Edubuk Greyatom and Notchup.

We also have Robo Wunderkind (Austria), Edves (Nigeria), Smile and Learn (Spain), Chessmatec (Israel), GradTrain (Israel) and Speak (Israel) showcasing coming in to explore the Indian EdTech Ecosystem.

Talking about the collaboration, Gil Almog from MindCET stated, “India is an exciting region for us to be in with some noteworthy things happening. We believe global EdTech startups should consider the region seriously. Our countries have shared a lasting bond over the years and its time we create a joint startup ecosystem that helps both MindCET and UIncept”

The event will see UIncept bringing in their network of EdTech Investors as well as some of their accelerated startups in the EdTech space to explore potential opportunities to collaborate and work together.

There will also be investor roundtables and keynotes from some of the most sought-after entrepreneurs, investors, and founders. UIncept shall host Gil Almog (CPO, MindCET), Ankur Warikoo (Co-founder, Nearbuy), Vibhore Sharma (CTO, Info Edge India Limited), Monce C. Abraham (Founder, Thev Consulting), Sandro Stephen (Regional Head, India Angel Network), Sonal Biyani (Founder, Basic Roots Consulting) and many more speakers coming in to talk shop and network with budding entrepreneurs.
