29th June, 2018: Bonphul Air Products, the developer of OxyMax, India’s first—and the world’s second—oxygen optimizer has just announced a senior appointment to its management team. Vikas Goel, whose last major appointment was as COO of the enterprise business of African telecom major Globacom, has been appointed as Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Bonphul Air Products, effective 1st July 2018.
As the CBO, Vikas Goel would look after 3 departments: sales, marketing and delivery. Vikas Goel comes with over 32 years of work experience in sales and marketing in companies like Tata Teleservices and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to his overseas stint at Globacom, Vikas Goel worked for over 8 years at Tata Docomo in the sales and strategy functions.
Bonphul Air Products, the 11 month old start-up, had recently been valued at Rs 20 crore, and received angel funding of Rs 2 Crore.
Announcing the appointment, Prodyut Bora, CEO of the company, said, “I am delighted to welcome Vikas Goel as the our Chief Business Officer. Vikas is a very senior corporate leader whose experience and wisdom is much needed in a young company like ours.
