VinFast Auto Partners with Castrol India to Strengthen EV After-Sales Service Network


New Delhi, Delhi, India | 1stOctober 2025: VinFast Auto India has entered into a strategic partnership with Castrol India Limited, a leading premium lubricant manufacturer, to deliver reliable and accessible after-sales service support for electric vehicle (EV) customers across India. This move reinforces VinFast’s long-term commitment to building a trusted EV service ecosystem in the country.

VinFast–Castrol MoU: Expanding EV Service Network Across India

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops from its 750+ service network in 300+ cities will be made available to VinFast customers. These workshops will feature:

  • VinFast-branded service bays
  • Certified EV technicians
  • Genuine VinFast spare parts

VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, technical training, and warranty coverage processes. Meanwhile, Castrol will ensure that all workshops meet required infrastructure, safety, and capability standards.

This collaboration will give VinFast customers access to Castrol’s advanced service protocols, digital-first workshop ecosystem, and proven automotive expertise, ensuring transparency, convenience, and consistent quality at every touchpoint.

With Castrol’s extensive nationwide footprint, VinFast will be able to provide broad and convenient EV after-sales support, further strengthening customer confidence in its vehicles.

VinFast is actively strengthening its presence in India’s electric vehicle market through major investments:

  • Recently inaugurated its first overseas EV assembly plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, scalable to 150,000 units.
  • The facility is expected to create thousands of direct jobs and accelerate EV adoption in India.
  • Plans to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by the end of 2025, in partnership with leading dealer groups.
  • Recently introduced its premium electric SUVs, VF 6 and VF 7, tailored for Indian consumers.
