National, 30 October 2025 – VoidZero, the company behind some of the most widely adopted open-source JavaScript tools, has announced a $12.5 million Series A funding round led by Accel, with participation from Peak XV Partners, Sunflower Capital, and angel investors including Koen Bok (Framer) and Eric Simons (StackBlitz).
The funding will accelerate the commercial release of Vite+, VoidZero’s unified JavaScript toolchain, while supporting team expansion and deeper investment in its open-source ecosystem.
“Our mission is simple: make JavaScript developers dramatically more productive,” said Evan You, Founder & CEO, VoidZero. “With Vite+, we’re building a unified, high-performance toolchain that developers can trust across every stage of their workflow.”
JavaScript’s fragmented tooling landscape has led to productivity loss, rising maintenance costs, and increased security risks. Vite+ solves this by combining development server, production build, testing, linting, formatting, scaffolding, and monorepo management into a single CLI, built atop VoidZero’s open-source projects—Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, and Oxc.
With Vite reaching 36 million weekly downloads and Vitest at 16 million, VoidZero’s tools already power products at OpenAI, Shopify, Stripe, Cloudflare, Hugging Face, and Mercedes-Benz. The company also maintains design partnerships with elite engineering teams including Framer and Linear.
This funding round marks Peak XV Partners’ continued support for developer innovation in India and APAC, where over 11.4 million developers and 440,000+ organizations on GitHub represent a fast-growing market for next-gen tooling.
VoidZero envisions Vite+ as the default toolkit for JavaScript developers—from startups to enterprises—empowering them to build faster, safer, and more meaningful products.
