Waaree Clean Energy Solutions (WCES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has announced its entry into India’s specialty gases business.
The new vertical will supply ultra‑high purity (UHP) gases and chemicals critical for semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing, positioning WCES as a one‑stop partner for India’s growing electronics and clean energy ecosystem.
Strategic Context
- India is expanding chip and electronics manufacturing under Semicon India 2.0.
- High‑purity gases and chemicals remain largely import‑dependent, creating supply bottlenecks.
- WCES is building a specialty gases plant at GIDC Saykha, Dahej, Gujarat, to provide domestic supply across India.

- Specialty gases warehousing: storage and handling to semiconductor‑grade standards.
- UHP Ammonia purification unit.
- Phosphine/Hydrogen (PH₃/H₂) mixing plant for doping and deposition.
- UHP Oxygen and UHP Hydrogen (already commercially available).
Full‑Spectrum Gases & Chemicals Partner
WCES will also design custom gas and chemical supply systems and nitrogen plants.
Its Total Gas & Chemical Management System covers:
- Storage and delivery.
- Safety monitoring.
- Inventory management.
UHP portfolio includes: Silane, Ammonia, Nitrous Oxide, Phosphine mixtures, Boron Trichloride (BCl₃), Trimethyl Aluminium, Diborane, Germane/H₂ mixes, HBr, SF₆, Nitric Oxide, fluorinated gases, and calibration gases, backed by pan‑India supply.
