March 2020, Bengaluru: Zolostays, category leader and the largest co-living brand in India, has appointed Sarabjeet Kukreja as its Head of Student Housing. The appointment is in line with the company’s efforts to aggressively expand its efforts in the student housing space this year. Kukreja will be responsible for all facets of student housing such as community activities, strategic growth planning, business development, operations, residence programming and admissions. His role will largely focus on B2B growth for the company.

Kukreja brings with him 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, operations and real estate. He has successfully developed and executed sales and marketing strategies in multiple industries and geographies across India. As Senior Vice President/National Head in sales, he has successfully led the sales team at Elara Group (Housing.com, Proptiger.com and Makaan.com). Kukreja has also led the sales team with companies like LODHA Group, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited, Karam Industries, Gemological Science International and Arihant Superstructures Ltd in the past.

Kukreja is passionate about setting up and growing businesses. He has successfully developed and executed sales & marketing strategies in multiple industries across the country.

The recent Budget allocation of Rs. 99,300 crores for the education sector will boost the co-living businesses on a larger scale this year.

Zolostays has 45,000 live beds and locked-in 2,00,000 beds for the near future. Its target customers are students and early professionals.
