Istituto Marangoni Mumbai, a leading fashion and design school, recently hosted its second edition of the Alumni Networking Meet in the capital city of Delhi. The event, held at the prestigious Q’la, brought together alumni, industry partners, and school representatives to celebrate the achievements of its graduates and foster networking opportunities. Tarun Pandey, COO of Istituto Marangoni Mumbai, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of alumni relations for the school. This annual event is a platform for alumni to connect with industry leaders and for the school to recognize the success of its graduates.

Delhi was chosen as the location for the Alumni Networking Meet due to the presence of Istituto Marangoni’s representative office in the city. The office, located in the DLF Centre, is centrally located in the business and financial district, making it easily accessible for fashion and design enthusiasts in the surrounding states and nearby regions.

The event kicked off with a panel discussion featuring Dhruv Kapoor, Advaeita Mathur of Studio Metallurgy, Gursi Singh of Lovebirds, and Pooja Singh, National Features Editor of Mint Lounge. These accomplished speakers shared their personal stories of success and provided valuable insights and inspiration to the eager audience of young professionals.

The panel discussion was followed by a showcase of the work of Istituto Marangoni’s accomplished alumni, featuring an array of designs and collections from notable names such as Dhruv Kapoor, Advaeita Mathur, Priyal Dhadda, Jeetinder Sandhu, Vasundhara Kumar, Aavriti Jain, and Janhavi Gupta, showcasing their diverse and creative styles in the fashion industry.

The evening also featured a showcase of the work of Istituto Marangoni’s notable alumni, as well as a creative and interdisciplinary project display by students from the Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, and Fashion Business streams, in partnership with luxury e-commerce platform Confidential Couture. The project aimed to re-imagine classic design elements of heritage luxury and create a one-of-a-kind, sustainable capsule collection.

The evening concluded with guests mingling and networking over a selection of wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres.
