We are interviewing Winston Miranda, Founder, Head coach & Manager – Rare Dare Football Club (A bangalore based startup supports grassroots and infrastructure of football players in India).

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem? 

Support to football at grassroots and infrastructure. FIFA stated “India sleeping giants of football.” We are a country of millions and you think we can get 30 skillful players with the dedication to get India on the football map it is a problem big enough to get the ball rolling.

What is the uniqueness about your Startup? 
Everyone form clubs our club “was born a family” We follow a different format as a club which help us to sustain, fund and support the club. “We Breathe Football” we are made of local heroes who will become household names tomorrow.

Why do you choose crowdfunding? 
Crowdfunding is only to show that this club is ready and has the vision to go to the next level to be the change in football.

Why should anyone or investor back you? 
Investors should back us we are the changmakers we gonna make the change that India need. We ready with the vision and mission.

What would you do after raising funds? 
In our case it depends on the funds we get we can do anything from playing a tournament to setting up infrastructure.

What is the revenue model? Explain your thought process. 
Revenue model is Sponsorship, Rental, Premium and Franchise… Rental of infrastructure, Premium on membership to the club.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them? 
All age groups ages 4 to 50. The set up of all Infrastructure will be based on fitness which benefits all ages in this word of technology.

What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how? 
World Cup Football for clubs there is no limit. Right now a second division club in India costs 20 million and our vision is beyond and its a mission.

What is the success story of your startup in your own words? 
The only challenge is space for practice as a football club. We are in the process of setting up our first arena which will help climb half the ladder. As we said “We are the change.” we will not stop the ball rolling because we believe.
