Art Mumbai is excited to announce its participation in the 7th edition of Delhi Contemporary Art Week (DCAW).
As part of Art Mumbai’s ongoing year-round programming, Art Mumbai Gateway will present a special walkthrough of DCAW at Bikaner House, Delhi. This event, scheduled for August 31, 2024, will be led by curator Girish Shahane and Art Mumbai’s Associate Director, Teesta Bhandare. The walkthrough will provide a unique opportunity to experience a diverse range of contemporary artworks that capture the vibrant and evolving landscape of modern creativity. This is a fantastic chance for art enthusiasts to engage with and celebrate contemporary art.
The Art Mumbai Gateway walkthrough on August 31 at Bikaner House is open to the public.
DCAW, organized by a collaborative effort of six prominent galleries—Blueprint12, Exhibit 320, Gallery Espace, Latitude 28, Shrine Empire, and Vadehra Art Gallery—will run from August 31 to September 4, 2024. In addition to the participating galleries, the event will feature a group exhibition titled ‘A Bold Step Sideways,’ curated by Girish Shahane. This exhibition will showcase artworks that challenge conventional art forms and historical narratives.
