Bisleri International Wins Mahatma Awards 2025 in Waste & Material Productivity

Ltd., India’s leading packaged drinking water company, has been honored with the Mahatma Award 2025 under the category of CSR Excellence – Waste and Material Productivity. This recognition highlights Bisleri’s unwavering commitment to building a circular economy and creating large-scale environmental impact through its comprehensive sustainability initiatives.

The Mahatma Award 2025 witnessed over 2,100 entries from across India, with only 90 organizations being recognized for their outstanding contributions to social and environmental responsibility. Bisleri emerged among the top CSR leaders driving measurable change through its innovative programs and long-term sustainability goals.

The prestigious award ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry and India’s first woman IPS officer, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Mr. A. Annamalai, Director, National Gandhi Museum – New Delhi, as Guest of Honour.

Instituted by Gandhian and lawyer Mr. Amit Sachdeva and supported by Ms. Rajashree Birla of the Aditya Birla Group, the Mahatma Award is regarded as India’s highest honor in the field of social impact and sustainability.
