Phuro Innovations was launched on August 2019 by Ms. Rachna Sharma, Founder & CEO. We are publishing an interview with Ms. Rachna:
Q.: What is the problem you are trying to solve? Please share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
Ans: If you ask anyone in the world, what do they google India for, the answer would be Spirituality, Heritage, Culture, Traditions, Yoga, Meditation and Gurus. I believe India has fairly done well in some parts of it, however spirituality has been neglected and confused by religious prilgimages. I am trying to create spaces where people can enjoy spirituality & associate it with luxury.
Q.: Please tell us about the founders
Ans: I am a one man army at the moment. I have a Vision which I want to share with the world, hence I established a one man company to do it more systematically and in a organised way.
Q.: What were your assumptions when you entered the market, learning that you have? Who in your mind is your ideal customer? Do you have at least one of them signed up?
Ans: I started six months back and have presented my Vision & Idea to various brands. My ideal customers are two, one a Brand who understands spirituality & can relate with its experiences. Second is the customer who would then like to Buy the experience and build memories in the most luxurious ways. People who appreciate solitude, unwinding themselves and learn to enjoy their own company.
Q.: What has been your biggest failure as an entrepreneur and what did you learn from it??
Ans: I do not think I have had any failures, I can safely say I have learnt a lot as an entrepreneur, you challenge yourself to a higher dimension with an idea, you go about building, some work, some do not, you have to be at it. Never Give up. Not be bothered about what people will say, how they will rate or judge you. Just enjoy the entrepreneurial journey, dnt look for a destination.
Q.: How are you pricing the Product? What is the logic behind it? Explain your thought process.
Ans: It would certainly be premium, pricing of any destination depend upon various factors, its the local destination, competition and kind of experiences which you will offer. Logic behind it is to reposition INDIA’s spirituality in the most contemporary way to the milenials of this world.
Q.: What is the big picture of your startup? Is this Product/service leading to something bigger? If so, how?
Ans: The Big Picture of my startup would be to have its own owned and operated world-class spiritual destination. For that we will have to run smaller units to build our brand and get recognized for this service
Q.: Who do You Perceive as Your Competition? How do you differentiate yourself with them?
Ans: At this moment, there are not any players, the Taj Hotels have just launched Taj Divinity few days back. I think everyone has started recognising the potential, this unorganised sector has. So yes hopefully I should be able to compete with them in long run.
Q.: What would be your goal to accomplish in the next six months? Any other information you would like to share?
Ans: To at least have one spiritual destination signed & sealed.
Q.: What message do you want to convey to fellow entrepreneurs?
Ans: Be Resilient.
