Indian Startups to go to China: Hainanese delegation in AIC BIMTECH

Greater Noida, November 15th 2018: Atal Incubation Centre-BIMTECH hosted the Chinese Delegation from Hainan region at Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida. The delegation comprised of Mr. Xu Jun (Vice Chairman, Standing Committee of Hainan Provincial Congress), Mr. Wang HongLiang (Director General, Rural Working Committee of Hainan Provincial Congress), Ms. Kang Baiying (Deputy Director General, Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province), Mr. Huang Shaowen (Chairman, Standing Committee of Sanya Municipal Congress), Mr. Fang Zhongli (Vice Chairman, Standing Committee of Haikou Municipal Congress), and Ms. Xiao Di (Senior Officer, Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province).

Indian Startups to go to China Hainanese delegation in AIC BIMTECH

AIC BIMTECH and the Hainan delegation signed a MoU to support the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and startups under the purview of both parties. The delegation was welcomed by Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi (Director, BIMTECH), Dr Abha Rishi (CEO, AIC BIMTECH), Mr Chittransh Verma (AVP, AIC BIMTECH), and Mr Amit Singal (Founder, Startup Buddy)

Mr Xu Jun and the delegate members met the startups registered with AIC-BIMTECH and invited them to Hainan, to know more about the China market. Dr Chaturvedi said, ‘Between China and India, the two countries have nearly 35 percent of humanity and a quarter of the world economy. China and India today represent Asia’s two largest and most dynamic societies which are emerging as new trend setters in international relations.” About the impact of this MoU, Dr Abha Rishi says, “With the kind of innovation China is spearheading, this collaboration is going to help our incubatee startups in refining their technology and availability of a parallel competitive market for their growth. We look forward to hosting Chinese startups and also to help our Indian startups have access to the Chinese market.” A follow-up meeting to work out the action plan was also carried out by the AIC BIMTECH team with Mr William Suen, International Business Director, Hainan Resort Software Community Group Ltd.
