LifeSigns Collaborates with Amala Hospital to Implement Smart Ward with Wearable Wireless Technology

– Amala Hospital collaborates with LifeSigns to introduce state-of-the-art technology for the first time in Kerala.

New Delhi, March 1, 2023: Amala Hospital, a multi-disciplinary hospital chain based in Kerala, has recently launched a state-of-the-art smart ward with wearable wireless technology, aimed at improving patient outcomes and reducing the risk of medical errors. As the first of its kind in Kerala, this innovative smart ward is equipped with advanced technology that offers continuous patient monitoring. Amala Hospital has partnered with Chennai-based health-tech startup, LifeSigns, to implement their iMS technology across the cardiology and medicine departments of their hospital in Thrissur, Kerala.

The smart ward at Amala Hospital offers a unique wireless patient monitoring system, which provides real-time monitoring of vital signs and other essential health indicators. This innovative technology replaces traditional wired monitoring systems that can be inconvenient and uncomfortable for patients, offering a more efficient and effective way to monitor patient health.

In addition to wireless monitoring, the smart ward is also equipped with monitoring systems at the nursing station and patient information systems, which work in tandem to enhance patient care and streamline the healthcare process.
