The second edition of the awards took place recently in Mumbai where winners were invited to celebrate their efforts in poker-playing. Among the key players were Chandan Dilawar and Pranav Khandelkar, who took to their respective homes, a whooping amount of INR 25 lakhs overall in the biggest monthly tournament called The Millionaire.

Chandan Dilawar learnt the sport of poker when he moved to England to become a trained actor, where he started playing the sport for recreational purposes. As a skilled player, Chandan explored his talents in the game, becoming a “Millionaire” and making INR 25 lakhs with a meager investment of INR 1000.

A recreational player, Pranav Khandalkar, from Pune (currently in Mumbai), believes that poker-playing has taught him a lot about life and growth. During one of his recreational matches he earned INR 25 Lakhs to become a Millionaire.

Commenting on his Millionaire achievement, Chandan Dilwar said: “The Spartan Poker is really the best platform for Poker heads, their gaming interface and simplicity of the site/app is really worth an applause and for someone who truly understands the nerves of Poker, making it big just becomes a cake walk. I look forward to many such tournaments from The Spartan team in the furture and hope I’ll win even bigger.”

Commenting on making it big in the Millionaire tournament, Pranav Khandalkar, said: “As an investment banker I can say, that the returns I have gained here is without a doubt much better than all the options out there. I would take this opportunity to thank the entire team of The Spartan Poker.”

Poker Badshah and Co-founder and MD of The Spartan Poker, Mr. Amin Rozani, said “We grow when our players grow. Pranav and Chandan’s achievements make us proud of our work and brings us closer to our players. Our larger goal is to make sure, everybody gets an opportunity to learn, earn and grow with our platform.”
