Oakter Launches 65W True GaN Charger for Laptops and Phones at ₹1,399

  • Powered by next-gen GaN technology, the charger adapts seamlessly to both smartphones and laptops with a single USB-C solution.
  • Ultra-compact and lightweight design with a secure India-specific 3-pin plug, delivering sustained 65W fast charging.

New Delhi, 6 October 2025 – Oakter, a leading consumer electronics brand, has unveiled its latest innovation—the 65W True GaN Charger, engineered to deliver fast, reliable, and secure charging for laptops, smartphones, and other USB-C devices. Priced at just ₹1,399 and bundled with a 1.5m USB-C cable, the charger is now available on Amazon.

Powered by Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, the charger offers high-efficiency performance in an ultra-compact form factor. It supports Power Delivery (PD 3.0) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols, delivering up to 65W output across multiple voltage levels—making it ideal for both mobile and computing devices.

A key differentiator is its India-specific 3-pin plug, designed for secure engagement with safety shutters and enhanced stability. Unlike common two-pin chargers that often slip or spark, Oakter’s 3-pin design ensures a firm fit and safer operation. The charger also features a shock-resistant capacitor system, minimizing vibrations and electrical risks, especially with metal-bodied devices.

From thermal management to plug design, every detail is optimized for performance and peace of mind.”

Weighing just 110g and measuring 7.8 × 4 × 5.6 cm, the charger is travel-friendly and rigorously tested for long-term durability. It supports input voltage from 100–240V, and outputs across 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V, with a maximum current of 3.25A.

This launch reinforces Oakter’s commitment to delivering India-specific, high-performance electronics that combine innovation with affordability.
