Platforms supporting PM’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat

26th June 2020: In the midst of the pandemic disarray, India’s economy is anticipating a significant dynamic move. In May 2020, the PM announced a Rs. 20 Lakh crore financial package so as to make India aatma-nirbhar. The nation needs to make items that are made in India and are made for the world. This is a period for India and Indian organizations to change and take a positive turn towards being Aatma Nirbhar i.e self-reliant. The PM has pitched for advancing local businesses. This has given a boost to various small and medium businesses in the country that are helping the nation in stabilizing the economy in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Atmanirbhar Bharat centers around Economy, Infrastructure, System, Vibrant Demography, and Demand. The Hon’ble PM has called on the citizens to use these adverse times for the resurgence of the Indian economy. In order to support our Prime Minister’s vision, various platforms have come up to brace this change and help our nation to grow and escalate by becoming self-sustaining.

Here is a list of platforms facilitating India to become Armanirbhar:

Tradeindia: 

To support the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. In a bid to revive the economy, TradeIndia is strengthening the agenda by providing a reliable platform to local buyers and sellers for identifying trustworthy business partners. Aligning with the PM’s mission of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Crofarm (India’s fastest growing farm to fork agri-tech startup) has recently launched its social commerce venture Otipy to revolutionise the supply chain of fresh produce in India. Otipy works closely with women reseller partners to full fill the demand of end consumers and facilitates the contactless doorstep delivery of fresh produce. The company is working with 500+ partner resellers mainly women across Delhi-NCR and is already serving over 50,000 consumers. Through its robust end to end supply chain network the best of the farm products are brought to consumers via social commerce model and the fresh produce reaches to the doorstep in less than 12 hours. 

AgriBazaar:

In the wake of the current situation to empower the farmers and make India Aatma Nirbhar AgriBazaar,India’s largest agri-tech marketplace is working closely with farmers, state governments and procurement agencies to allow trade from the safety of their homes. As a full-stack agritech player, AgriBazaar has replicated the physical mandi to an (electronic) e-mandi aggregator model through which once a farmer registers and uploads his produce, buyers can give orders for the purchase. And, once the deal is complete, AgriBazaar facilitates the logistics of picking up the grain from the farmer’s doorstep and delivering it to the buyers’ warehouse.
