Shark Tank-Funded Indian Menswear Brand, The Bear House, Makes Global Debut with UAE Expansion

The Bear House, a Bangalore-based menswear brand, has made its Middle East debut through leading marketplaces—Noon, Namshi, and Amazon. With a focus on premium fashion, the brand seeks to expand and strengthen its omnichannel and physical retail presence in the region’s high-growth market.

Bangalore, May 28, 2025 – After making waves on Shark Tank India Season 4, The Bear House, a contemporary men’s fashion brand specializing in smart casuals, has officially marked its international debut in the Middle East. Launching on popular GCC marketplaces—Noon, Namshi, and Amazon—The Bear House is setting the stage for deeper global expansion, tapping into the high-potential UAE market.

Bringing ‘Affordable Luxury’ to the GCC Market
With an increasing demand for premium menswear and a thriving e-commerce ecosystem, the Middle East presents a natural extension for The Bear House’s modern, versatile wardrobe essentials. Its comfort-led silhouettes, regionally adaptable styles, and hybrid designs now reach UAE consumers via trusted, high-traffic digital platforms.

Speaking about the expansion, Harsh Somaiya, Co-Founder of The Bear House, emphasized the strategic intent behind the move:
“This is our first big step toward becoming a truly global Indian brand. The Bear House bridges the gap between luxury and affordability in the GCC market, where customers traditionally choose between either high-end labels or budget brands. The UAE, being the region’s fashion and e-commerce hub, offers us strong infrastructure, an engaged consumer base, and high market accessibility. It’s the ideal gateway for expansion.”

A Brand Built for Growth
The Bear House has been on an aggressive expansion drive in India over the past few years, successfully transitioning from an online-only presence to brick-and-mortar retail, with stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Earlier this year, its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4 and the securing of ₹3 crore funding from Shark Namita Thapar (Executive Director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals) catapulted the brand’s visibility and momentum.

Positioning for the Future
With its entry into the Middle Eastern market, The Bear House strengthens its omnichannel presence, positioning itself as a key player in the premium menswear segment. The move reinforces its commitment to timeless design, versatility, and accessibility for modern professionals, setting the foundation for broader international growth in the future.
