Next Big Brand (NBB) is creating a 360-degree solution for brands with that would create synergies among the industry folks while making the audience aware. Their team envision to make brand-centric news and updates globally accessible while creating an avenue with 360-degree solutions for brands. They are focused on educating, sharing the journeys of brands, the industry folks to make NBB the go-to platform for all things related to brands. The “Next Big Brand” was founded on 1st February, 2019 by Mr. Abhishek Kumar Gupta. Abhishek is a serial entrepreneur and social influencer. We are publishing an interview with him:

Q.: What is the problem you are trying to solve?
Ans:
NBB addresses the pain points of growing brands and provide them a platform to showcase their individuality NBB is a platform that can nurture and help brands identify with their audience, NBB aims at creating a worldwide avenue to connect industry’s mentors with the upcoming creators of brands.

Second thing is that we try to deliver the current business news that too in the simple language possible. This way we are able to connect with our readers too and in recent times we have observed an increase in the return readers.

Q.: Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
Ans:
If you look at the last two years’ survey data, you’ll find that the top 2 positions are taken up by Samsung and Nestle respectively. They are able to hold on to their positions because of good branding and of course, customer satisfaction. The brands that are coming in the top 200 want to come in the top 100 and the brands currently in the top 100 want to see them in the top 10 in least possible time. NBB comes at their rescue in the process.

Q.: Tell us about the Product / Solution. Explain how you went about the Product-Market Fit Process.
Ans:
NBB, a brand-centric media company is opening its platform to address recent updates, news, know how’s and know what’s to brands across the globe. A platform that can nurture and help brands identify with their audience, NBB aims at creating a worldwide avenue to connect industry’s mentors with the upcoming creators of brands.

Q.: What is your USP?
Ans:
The goal is to create a 360-degree solution for brands that will create synergies among the industry folks while making the audience aware.

In addition to that, the frequent news from the global market is being delivered at the speed of light with the insights for the brands to ponder upon.

Q.: What were your assumptions when you entered the market, learning that you have? Who in your mind is your ideal customer? Do you have at least one of them signed up?
Ans:
I launched the Next Big Brand with the ultimate aim of making the relevant brands easily penetrate into the tier 2 and tier 3 cities by helping them in reaching a larger mass. The products can undoubtedly be great but the population needs to know about its existence and most importantly the brands need to appear as brands and not mere local products. Thus, branding and marketing go hand in hand.

Q.: How are you pricing the Product? Explain your thought process.
Ans:
The pricing is in variation with the brand’s niche, the type of product they are selling, their ROI and most importantly how they are revolutionizing the customer space. You may cite the model as Freemium.

Q.: How did you get your first customer?
Ans:
It’s a very interesting story. I had to meet a client in Thailand last year and with a reference I got to know about a StartUp named ThailandWale that deals in travel package to Thailand. Their way of working was much more efficient and the whole process was customer friendly. I thought more and more people should know about such a smooth process and thus they became our first customer.

Q.: Please tell us about the investors (if any)
Ans:
Currently, we are bootstrapped.

Q.: Is there any interesting success story? If yes, please write about it. ?
Ans:
A startup named TravelSena reached us recently for branding and in a very short span their reach has been enormous and that is what we at NBB are happy about. We had the insights and the data we got was thoroughly analysed by the team and a relevant solution was given that worked well!

Q.: What is the big picture of your startup? Is this Product/service leading to something bigger? If so, how?
Ans:
We at present are focussing on branding as it is our USP but we are looking to stretch ourselves in the near future in some other fields too. You’ll get to know about it soon. Fingers Crossed!

Q.: Since inception, give us a sense of the value of business done by your venture?
Ans:
NBB is a brand-centric media platform for businesses. We aware businesses about the latest trends, news, and events of the brand’s world. Since our inception, We have generated a revenue of around 15 lacs.

Q.: What is the insight that you have about this market, which no one else has? Uniqueness about your Startup.
Ans:
I’ve learnt that you need to have a close connection with the brands. By close connection, I mean your client brands should not see you as another promotional platform but as a partner who is there to help it in growing further.

Q.: List all the names of the core Team Members, along with their Designated Roles – How you see them evolving over time. What would be each of their Skillsets? – Elaborate also if any of the team members has a specific domain expertise.
Ans:
Currently we are a team of Five that comprise of the Content Creators, Digital Marketers and Promoters.

Q.: Who do You Perceive as Your Competition? How do you differentiate yourself with them?
Ans:
I don’t see anyone as a competitor. The brand market is a never ending one and I believe in going from Zero to One with utmost priority to the work.

Q.: What would be your goal to accomplish in the next six months?
Ans:
We are looking forward to collab with more and more brands in the next 6 months.

Q.: What message do you want to convey to fellow entrepreneurs?
Ans:
Treat your entity as a brand from the very first day! If you want to grow to the ultimate level you need to start taking it as one from the very first day itself.

Ans:
