New Delhi | 15th November 2019: Underlining its commitment to revolutionise the idea of traveling and socializing in the country, Zostel – a community-led, experience-driven ecosystem – has recently added four new properties under its sub-brand ‘ZostelX’. The newest properties; Shuru, Tabo, Kibber, Pushkar and Rakchham are perfectly situated at India’s most picturesque and lesser-known locations, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of large cities. Each of these ZostelX homes comprise 4-8 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12-16 guests.
Zostel has invested close to 1.5 years in ground research and planning for renovation and branding of these properties, thereby giving new-age travellers a chance to explore regions that are usually untouched by the masses. Through these additions, Zostel intends to acquaint them with a more immersive and authentic travel experience. During their stay, travellers will also have the chance to take part in multiple exciting activities such as Frozen River Hike, Ice Skating, Village Walk, among others. As of now, Zostel has launched 12 such properties across India and the latest additions will bring the numbers to 16.
Speaking on the launch of new properties, Mr. Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, Co- founder and CEO, Zostel said, “We are glad to expand our existing operations and offerings to the growing class of modern travellers across India. We are confident of doing monthly revenues of around 4-5 lakhs from each property and that they will attract more consumers while elevating their interest to experience the local culture with ease and comfort. The move is also aimed at promoting and developing the local economies of these regions and boost tourism opportunities. Moving forward, we are planning to roll out 400 more such properties across Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand over the next 2 years.”
Zostel has been in the business of providing quirky, secure, hygienic & affordable backpacker hostels to young travellers at new destinations for more than 6 years now. It is known for its high-rated, popular hostels among the millennial backpackers. The latest additions in the ZostelX homes will further augment the brand’s offerings and expand the consumer base across India.
