Mumbai | 19th January 2021: Bolstering the vision of an Atma Nirbhar Bharat and Digital India Mission, 100X.VC has now announced the third edition of its VC Pitch Day, ‘Class 03’. The online showcase event is expected to receive a footfall of 1000+ investors from all over the world. Class 03 will showcase 10 seed-stage startups funded by 100X.VC. Launched in 2019, 100X.VC is an innovation-driven venture capital firm that invests in startups via iSAFE notes. iSAFE notes are pioneered by 100X.VC itself and have now become a popular capital-raising instrument for early-stage startups across the industry. Last year, the platform had received more than 4,500 applications from seed-level startups, out of which, 1,400 pitched and 9 startups were funded by 100x.vc in its Class 02 funding round.
Speaking about the event, Ninad Karpe, Partner at 100X.VC, said, “100x is delighted to unveil a fresh set of 10 startups funded as part of Class 03. These startups were selected from a staggering 1677 applications received by us. The Founders of these 10 startups have undergone extensive mentoring by the team at 100x and have also been exposed to more than 100 hours of Masterclasses from Industry experts. These startups are from across India and have innovative business ideas covering a wide range from Vertical Ecommerce, SaaS to Deeptech. We are confident that each of these startups is capable of rapidly scaling its business and becoming a leader in its space”
100X.VC acts as a “discovery platform” for VCs and Early-stage Investors with its unique investment thesis. They have one of the largest pools of investors and follow a robust screening methodology, wherein it transfers equitable benefits to both the investors and the investees. It has so far funded and helped raised additional capital for 29 startups which are part of its Class 01 and Class 02 portfolio through the VC Pitch Days.
“We, at 100X.VC, are extremely proud to say that after being the first in India to launch a VC Fund, which invests through iSAFE, a founder friendly convertible investment instrument, we have seen increasing traction by over 100+ investors investing in 100X portfolio companies through iSAFE and making it a huge success. We hope that this trend continues to disrupt the Indian early stage startup ecosystem with our newly invested Class 03 portfolio companies and our founders will be able to raise more funds post our VC pitch day and realize their dreams.”, said, Yagnesh Sanghrajka, Founder & CFO at 100X.VC.
This year, the VC firm aims to fund and support 100 Indian startups catering to diverse market segments including Health & Wellness, AgriTech, AI, Robotics, Traveltech and Fintech.
