5 Devices to lookout for this Breast Cancer Awareness month

17th October 2019: Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women. In India, more than 60% of all breast cancer patients are diagnosed in the advanced stages where treatment becomes difficult. According to the study, in 2018, 1,62,468 new cases and 87,090 deaths were reported for breast cancer in India. Over 100,000 new breast cancer patients are estimated to be diagnosed annually in India.

People can help in reducing the risk of developing breast cancer by detecting breast cancer early through screening methods. Screening helps to identify breast cancer before there are symptoms or at the very early stages when the chances for successful treatment are the highest.

Braster Pro-Breast Examination System

The device captures raw images from the camera and uses internal SDRAM as a buffer to store up to 15 images while Wi-Fi transfer is in progress. All control commands are provided via Wi-Fi, the device itself does not capture nor transfer pictures unless configured to do so via Wi-Fi using Braster Care mobile app. An additional LED illumination system is used to ensure proper illumination during image capture. The device uses 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi in Access Point mode to enable wireless connectivity with mobile devices, such as tablets or smartphones.

Breastlight

Breastlight is an aid to breast awareness for women to use at home. This self-examination device helps in finding the abnormalities in the breast by shining a bright red light through the breast tissue. The light, which is perfectly harmless, highlights the blood vessels which normally show up as dark lines.

Pink Luminous

Pink Luminous gives users additional awareness, peace of mind and confidence. It is an innovative, safe and effective way for women to understand their breast health in the comfort of their homes. Pink Luminous gives the user the ability to monitor inside the breast tissue and to detect the presence of abnormalities, which could potentially develop into serious problems over time.

Infrared Breast Cancer Testing Detection Self Analyzer Examination Massager Care

This item is an innovative hand-held device for self-examination and self-therapy of the breast. It sends out the bright-red beam, shown to be effective in detecting breast tumors and other breast abnormalities, achieving prevention of breast disease. The red light from it also promotes breast health. The “Care” mode of it combines the benefits of red light and massage to treat breast disease. It is the world’s leading instrument in breast health using patented technology, with 100% of the safety and effectiveness on the treatment and prevention of breast disease, without radiation, without any side effects.

IBreastExam

This device is designed to address the rising incidence of breast cancer in developing countries where women have limited or no access to breast cancer screening services.
