National, 26th August, 2019: BridgeLabz Solutions LLP, one of India’s largest IP-driven incubation labs aimed at nurturing engineering talent and ideas in the emerging technology space, recently organized a one-of-its-kind 21 day coding boot camp for worthy candidates to enable tech talent with industry relevant coding skills. The move has been initiated so as to overcome the technical deficit one encounters while hiring engineers from academia and to bridge the rising skill gap caused by the lacking education system. The scholarship will be free of charge in line with BridgeLabz’s ethical philosophy.

BridgeLabz plans to upskill 300 engineers across Mumbai and Bangalore through the boot camp at any given time. These camps will be held continuously across the year. The camp will help the candidates in learning and applying basic coding methodologies during the 21 days which will increase their confidence and make them job ready. At the end of the boot camp, the candidates will be awarded certificates of completion that will further establish the proof of their having acquired the basic coding know how and becoming industry ready. Moreover, BridgeLabz will guarantee a 100% job opportunity to the top deserving performers of the boot camp if they choose to proceed with the company’s fellowship program.

Speaking about the coding boot camp, founder of BridgeLabz Narayan Mahadevan said, “With the steady rise of the technical sector it has become imperative that a skillful and stable talent pool should exist so as to meet the increasing demands of the technological sector. The coding boot camp is an initiative in the same direction as it shall empower prospective and deserving candidates with a free scholarship. Also, the top performers have the surety of a lucrative job opportunity with us if they choose to persist with the BridgeLabz fellowship program.”

Ever since its inception in 2016, BridgeLabz has made numerous engineers employable to-date, having placed them within its network of 150+ leading partner-companies including Yatra, Fullerton, Capgemini and Urban Ladder, amongst others. By the end of FY 2019-20, BridgeLabz plans to place 3000 engineers and expand its partner network to over 500 companies pan-India, with the aim to facilitate a strong and sustained talent-to-company pipeline.
