Yara Cafe, inaugurated on 4th November 2019 at Vipul Business Park, Sohna Road, is
Gurgaon’s first LGBTQIA friendly cafe, promoting liberty, unity and equality among all,
promising a harassment free atmosphere.
As an acknowledgement to our strong & silent Guardians, the cafe offers a special discount
to all Veterans & Army Personnel.
Latika Narang, Founder aekum alternative Healthcare Centre & Yara Cafe: “The hanging around college food places vanishes when adult life takes over, this café aims
to attract people who want to connect and ‘Just be’. The Café also offers books to read in
case you want to have some ‘me time’.
The food range is designed for all Palettes – Desi to Angrezi, Blue Tokai to Masala Chai,
Cheeky Cheesy Sandwiches to Bun Sam. So, come, chill out, meet your friends and enjoy our food. I would want you to chat with each other so much that you forget your cell phones for a while!”
‘Yara’ in Arabic is a ‘Little Butterfly in Flight’ & also the Panjabi word for ‘Best Friend’. As you enter you sense both with the airiness of delicate wings & the aroma of tantalising
sandwiches, buns, desserts & lunch tickling your ‘Neeyat’. In this tucked away place, you
can read books, play games and even play the bongo, harp or accordion if you want!
The timings of the cafe are from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
