After seeing 100k+ users daily on Android & 2 Mn+ Downloads, Kaagaz Scanner launches on iOS

5th January 2021: Kaagaz Scanner, an Indian document scanning and storage app, today announced release of the Kaagaz Scanner App on iOS. With the continuous stellar growth, Kaagaz Scanner is now installed on 23 Lakh+ mobile phones and over 100k people use it on a daily basis.

Kaagaz Scanner was launched in Jun 2020 by a team of 3 seasoned entrepreneurs pursuing their 2nd startup together -Snehanshu Gandhi (IIT Bombay ’07, ISB Hyderabad ’12), Gaurav Shrishrimal (IIT Kanpur ’14) and Tamanjit Singh Bindra (AIT Pune ’06).The company has been backed by Pravega Ventures, Axilor Ventures, Better Capital & First Cheque along with a few notable angels.

Other than using Kaagaz Scanner for different scanning requirements like Notes, Assignments, Invoices, Agreement, etc –users are storing & organizing documents in folders for future correspondence. Going with the popular demand for cloud storage, the team has started Beta Testing its cloud features which it plans to roll out very soon –which would be free to start with.

Founder of Kaagaz Scanner, Snehanshu Gandhi said –“Since the launch of Kaagaz on Android, we had been continuously getting requests for an iOS version as well. With iOS launch and upcoming cloud storage, we plan to reach over 10 million users in next few months and become their go-to app for not just scanning, but all document management requirements.”Gandhi also mentioned, “We also look at expanding our team to build and scale the product quickly.”

Kaagaz Scannerwhich has been recognized by various ministries,is the flagship product of the company and their immediate focus is on building it into a world class productin parallel to capturing the huge void left by CamScanner.
