National Startup Awards 2022 honors T-Hub as “Best Incubator in India

– T-Hub received the “Best Incubator in India” award from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the National Startup Awards 2022, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

– T-Hub was selected as the winner among 55 other incubators at the national level.

T-Hub, a leading player in India’s innovation ecosystem, was honored with the “Best Incubator in India” award at the National Startup Awards 2022 on National Startup Day. The organization was recognized for its contributions to the advancement of the startup ecosystem in Telangana. The award was presented to T-Hub in the presence of Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & Textiles and Shri Som Prakash, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.

The award recognizes T-Hub’s efforts to support the growth of the startup ecosystem in Telangana, and is among 55 other participating incubators. T-Hub’s impactful contributions include funding raised by startups, sector focus, strong market connections, partnerships, and overall impact on the startup ecosystem, boasting over 2500 startups, raising almost USD 1.9 billion, and creating 12000+ jobs. This level of impact is unmatched among other incubators and T-Hub will now be provided with support for its business growth, mentorship, funding, partnerships, and market access opportunities, serving as a role model for other entrepreneurs.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government, said, “Governments typically don’t excel in this area, but by studying and meticulously learning from the best practices of others, T-Hub can become a national leader in the field. The National Startup Awards 2022, in its third edition, recognized the exceptional achievements of startups and ecosystem enablers that have not only shown financial success, but also made a significant impact on society. The awards ceremony, which received applications across 17 sectors, with 50 sub-sectors, and 7 special categories, honored those who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities in their respective fields.
