Mumbai, February 24, 2023: The Retailers Association of India (RAI) recently hosted the Retail Startup Awards’ sixth edition, which acknowledges the most innovative retail startups to watch out for in 2023. The award ceremony took place during the Retail Leadership Summit 2023 (RLS 2023) organized by the RAI.
The RAI Retail Startup Awards aim to honor the entrepreneurial spirit by acknowledging it. They are an acknowledgment of the tenacious spirit that inspires entrepreneurs to transform their visions into reality and turn their ideas into profitable businesses.
“Startups have been enriching retail with their uniqueness and filling the gaps in the market while offering convenience and comfort to customers. We have been receiving a rich diversity in the nature of startups that apply for the award from all parts of the country, this reflects the opportunities that the retail sector is providing to Indian entrepreneurs. We are happy that at the end of the selection process, the winners are ones who truly add value to the industry,” said Dr Hitesh Bhatt, Director-Marketing and Communication, Retailers Association of India (RAI).
The jury comprising of K Radhakrishnan of StarQuick and Suhail Sattar of Hasbro Clothing evaluated the entries over set criteria. The three retail startups that have emerged as the winners of the RAI Retail Startup Awards 2023:
Winners:
- Yellow Dwelling
- The Silk Road
2nd Runner Up
- Women’s India Personal Care Pvt Ltd
The shortlisted retail startups, other than the winners, were 100percent Nourishment, Coffee Codes India, Edamama (Eternalia Creative and Merchandising), myPAPERCLIP (Gabss Printmart), and Skandhanshi Retail.
